Shofu Hy-Bond Temporary Crown Cement (Soft) is a non-eugenol, polycarboxylate-based cement made for temporary cementation of provisional crowns, fixed restorations, and implant prostheses, functioning as a reliable non eugenol temporary cement across general practice. It can also be used for indirect pulp capping and for temporarily sealing prepared cavities as an intermediate restorative, much like any other temporary tooth cement used chairside. The patented Hy-Agent additive, which contains tannin-fluoride, seals dentinal tubules to help prevent pulpal irritation. It is easy to mix and apply chairside, sets quickly, and cleans up easily once excess material is removed. It is intended for dental professionals.
